Thiess built the Southbank site as their high profile corporate headquarters. The building is predominantly office areas, in which VDU use requires a quality lighting environment.
The lighting was engineered by Lincolne Scott Consulting Engineers, and utilises the pre-T5 technology 33Watt metric T8 fluorescent lamps in 10 cell louvred fittings. The energy saving properties of this lamp will provide ongoing reduction of electrical consumption, while providing equivalent performance to conventional lighting products.
